We're excited to announce that Greater Iowa Credit Union's Waukee branch is moving to a brand-new building—just across the parking lot to the south! This move reflects our ongoing commitment to better serve you with upgraded facilities and enhanced member services.

New Location Opening Soon
To prepare for the move, our current Waukee branch will close at 1:00 PM on Thursday, May 1st. We'll reopen in our brand-new space at 1145 SE University Ave in Waukee soon, and we can't wait to welcome you in!

On April 1, 1925, Governor John Hammill signed the Iowa Credit Union Act into law, paving the way for financial cooperatives that put people over profit.

That same year, the first credit union in Iowa was founded, marking the beginning of a movement that continues to serve Iowans with trust, integrity, and community spirit.
