Google Pay - How do I set up Google Pay?

  1. Download the Google PayTM app from the Google Play store.
  2. Sign in with your Google account.
  3. Choose the add debit or credit card option from your available banking choices, do this by touching the floating action button.
  4. Select Add a Credit or Debit Card.
  5. Capture a picture of your card with your phone’s camera by lining up your card within the onscreen frame.
  6. Confirm the card’s CVC number and touch Save and agree to the card issuer terms.
  7. Google Pay will then verify the card with GICU. You may select a verification method to receive a code, such as via email or text message.
  8. Once verified, your card gets added to your available stack of cards within Google Pay.
  9. You will need to select the Google Pay app as your PRIMARY app for it to work at participating merchants. Just look for the Google Pay symbol on the terminal.
